"Nothing compares nor worries or cares. Regrets and mistakes they are memories made.Who would've known how bittersweet this would taste"
Teenage hood.. Oh yeah, we all have been through this stage.. Rebellious, Authoritative, Crazy, Infactuations, Mistakes, Regrets, etc .... You name it and it collaborates with teenage years..
6 years of teenagehood and You learn just not one thing, but trillions of things.. U do wrong, U regret, U do good, U are happy, U commit, U cry, U grow, U mature,U fall, U learn to take responsibilties and U fight with every kind of hurdles.. But in the end, U learn what is right and what is wrong..
Oh yes, during these changes , we do get carried away by such melody of life.. Just the beautiful part... Not caring about the wrongs and the misconceptions that lead us to trash..
Such misconceptions happen to everyone- You , me , your friends .....
We might consider these misconceptions to be very right but we always end up realising how wrong our decisions were..
Lets take up some examples.
Ummm, infactuations? Yeaaaah !!! I know we all have been through the "Oh Gosh, I love that girl, or boy", seems legit right? But waaaaitttt, not so legit for our parents.. And Wooosssh, there hits the main clash between generations..
We being the rebel babies, tend to forget that our parents , who knew and who went through, who learnt, who grew mature had actually passed this stage.. Their experience and their parental advice has no Impact on Us , because of our believe of having the misconception of always Being Right..
How often do we misunderstand our parents? how quick are we to jump to conclusions that they dont understand us? do we ever try to understand the trials n tribulations they had to go through on bringing us up?
No, we dont and we cant.We cannot feel how they cried for us every moment.. when we came into this world, they cried with happiness, when we first went to the school, they cried again with worry, happiness and sadness... they silently cried when they came to know that we shared our secrets with our best friend . yes they are the ones who cry with fear when you are friends with the opposite gender believing they protect us better then your own parents because in their mind they are the only ones who can keep us safe.. protect us from all the dangers.. and yet by the end of the day we reject their decision, hurt them... And make them cry... why cant we think that the mother who could feed us so well that she knew when u were hungry, when u were in pain she gave her best advices to us .. Why is it that when we grow up we snatch away all the power of taking decisions from our parents?
Give it a thought what good You did today? Maybe a hug? Maybe a Smile? Maybe a helping hand?
It might be quiet irritating or You know just too mainstream to help our parents with their daily chores.. But we have no slight idea how at peace and how relaxed they feel after their tiring day.
It might take a day or two to get the hang of out. But I tell You, its worth every penny..
To break down the misconceptions, We need to step into our parents shoe and understand the heaviness they have on their shoulders.. Sounds weird? It absolutely does, but not so weird until You completely understand it...
So lets for a change do one good thing for them today, doesn't matter how small or big it is just do it.
Love your parents forever. <3 <3
